AM/FM CHANNEL STEP SWITCH
This switch is provided on models F-X20Z/Z and F-X212/Z only.
The AM/FM channel step switch is located on the rear panel of the digital syn-
thesized tuner. Before the tuner leaves the factory, this switch is set to the chan-
nel allotment plan of the area in which the tuner is sold. When the TUNING
is given a single push, the frequency display will change in the following

By operating these five controls, equalization effects can be added to program
source of tape playback sounds.

@ *DOLBY NR switch
Push this switch to ON when recording with the built-in Dolby naise reduction
system (B type), and when playing back tapes which have been
recorded using the system.

@ TAPE COUNTER
This indicates the transport position of the tape loaded in Deck Il with a three-
digit number.
@® RESET button
Push this button to reset the tape counter display to 000.
@ SYNCHRO REC START switch
When this switch is pressed, Deck { will enter the playback mods, and Deck Ht
will simultaneously begin recording.
@ REC MUTE switch
Use for creating non-recorded blank spaces on the tape
The fightning flash with arrowhead, within an CAUTION:
