Water Connection
• The inlei hose is approx. 4' long; a
longer hose (12') may be bought
from the Miele Spare Parts De¬
partment,
• A shut-off valve with a 3/a" com¬
pression fitting connection is ne¬
cessary or 3A" male hose thread
shut-off vlave.
• For the Miele 'Waterproof leak
protection system to function
properiy, the inlet hose must be
connected to the shut off valve in
the correct manner. Please follow
the separate installation instruc¬
tions for the "Waterproof system"
unit.
• Water pressure must be between
14.5 PSI and 145 PSI Max temp.

In case of varying or extra low
pressure, the MIELE Service Dept,
will advise.
NB: The dishwasher is suitable for
hot water connection.
Water drainage
• A non-return valve is built into the
appliance to prevent dirty water
from running back into the dish¬
washer.
• The appliance is equipped with a
4' long flexible hose, approx.

diameter.
• Longer drain hoses are available.
• A hose clamp is enclosed for con¬
nection to drain system.
• The drainage hose should not be
longer than 12' and pump height
should not exceed 3'.
• The drainage hose should not be
shortened.
