Record a signal in a manner similar to that for Item 6.8
above.
Rewind the tape a /ittle. Make the external mic
jack short using a short plug and erase a part of the re-
wound
tape. Read the signal level for the 1 kHz, —60
dBV
input and the noise level for the erased part. Sub-
tract the noise level from the signal level in dB.

Connect a 1 kHz bandpass filter to the,LINE OUT jack.
Play back the tape used in Item 6.10 above.(The

in reference to that of the signal recorded por-
tion.
