Quick Start Guide

Charging your Stride BT5 Earphones

Step 1: Carefully lift the rubber cover for the Micro USB charging port and rotate the cover to the rear.

Step 2: Insert the Micro USB Cable into the Micro USB charging port as shown.

Step 3: Insert the USB end into a power source* to charge. The LED indicator light will flash red while charging and solid red when charged.

*Power source options include USB connection to a Sprout AC power adapter, a Sprout car charger or computer/notebook USB connection.

To turn on

• Press and hold button for 3 Seconds.
• A tone will sound and the LED Indicator light will turn on.

To turn off

• Press and hold button for 3 Seconds.
• A tone will sound and the LED Indicator light will remain off.

Automatic Turn Off

Stride BT5 will automatically turn off 2 minutes after being disconnected from your mobile device.

Connecting to Stride BT5 via Bluetooth

• Your mobile device needs to be within 10 meters of the Stride BT5.
• Make sure your Stride BT5 battery has a sufficient charge.
• The Stride BT5 can only be connected to one mobile device at any time.
• If the blue light flashes every 5 seconds it has automatically reconnected to the last mobile device it was connected with and is ready to play.

To pair your device

1. Turn on your Stride BT5 holding for 3 seconds to active the pairing mode. Once activated, the LED indicating light will be flashing red and blue ready for pairing*.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/music device**.
3. 'Stride BT5' will appear on your mobile phone/music device. Select 'Stride BT5' to pair.
4. The LED indicating light will flash blue every 5 seconds when you are.
5. Enjoy your music.

*Stride BT5 will always store the last device paired. If the device is within Bluetooth range, Stride BT5 will automatically connect to the device. To pair and connect to a different mobile device, you will need to disconnect from the current paired device.

** If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your mobile phone or music device, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone/music device for instructions to pair a new device using Bluetooth.

Music Controls

Magnet play/pause

You can also pause music by placing the Stride BT5 earbuds together. Play music again by pulling them apart.

Phone call controls

Wearing Stride BT5

Your Stride BT5 includes alternative rubber earbuds in a small and large size, which can be changed for your comfort. Your Stride BT5 is fitted with the large earbud out of the box.

When fitting the earbuds to your ear, they should be comfortable but snug.

To change to an alternate size earbud, gently pull the existing rubber bud off your Stride BT5. Replace with an alternate bud, making sure to fit the correct left and right sides by lining up the holes.

Music Play Time

Up to 8 hours with full charge, and volume at 60%. Louder volume will reduce play time.

Charge indicator on iPhone

A vertical battery charge level will appear in the top right corner of your smartphone screen.

Low Charge Remaining Indicator

When the battery charge drops to 20% there will be a voice prompt and the LED Light will flash red in rapid succession.

Important Safety Information

Read all instructions and warnings prior to using this product.

• Do not use this apparatus near water while plugged in for charging, due to risk of electric shock.
• Protect the Micro USB charging cable from being pinched particularly at the connectors.
• Unplug the Micro USB charging cable during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Avoid listening at excessive volume levels or for prolonged periods.
