Placement of removal wedges -3409- on e-up! High-voltage
battery
– Lever off top high-voltage battery shell.
– With the aid of a second mechanic, lift off top high-voltage
battery shell. To do this, hold at front and rear with both
hands.
Bonding
Note
Ideally, testing of the top high-voltage battery shell should take
place as soon as the goods are received.
– Inspect the top high-voltage battery shell for damage (also
hairline cracks) as these can lead to leaks after bonding.
Preparing top high-voltage battery shell for bonding
– Mark position of spacers on outside of top high-voltage bat‐
tery shell -arrows-.
