IF THE ENGINEER IS UNSURE AS TO
WHETHER THE OSG IS CORRECTLY
LOCATED REMOVE THE OSG BODY
AND RESET THE LEVER POSITIONS AS

Rotate the drive wheel by hand to align the cam to
give access to the mounting hole and fit the first
screw as shown. Take care not to cross thread the
mounting screw.

Rotate the drive wheel by hand and align the cam to
give access to the remaining fixing hole and fit the
second screw, taking care not to cross thread the
screw.

Reset the osg, following the reset procedure and
ensure that the arrestor wedges are fully retracted
parallel to the hub.

Refit the carriage transfer rail into the carriage. Take
care to ensure that all the rollers are correctly aligned
and avoid tripping the osg.
CHECK AT ALL TIMES WHEN REFITTING
THE CARRIAGE THAT THE ARRESTOR
WEDGES DO NOT COME INTO CONTACT
WITH THE RAIL SURFACE.
USING A FLAT BLADED SCREW DRIVER
WILL ASSIST IN PASSING THE RAIL
OVER THE POWER BOGIE STEERING

Refit the carriage to the rail following the procedures
laid out in the Acorn 80 Installation Manual. Re-fit all
covers and the seat and test the operation of the lift.
