Turning Transmission/
Reception of Damper
Messages On and Off
When the setting shown below is switched to "Off,"
Damper messages (Hold 1: Control Change No. 64)
will no longer be transmitted when a peda! connected
to the ep-3 is depressed. Also, should any external
device send Damper messages, they will have no
effect: sounds playing on the ep-3 will not be sus-
tained.

While holding these down,
press the key for either
"On" or "Ol."
On: Transmission and
reception takes place
Off. No transmission or
reception takes place
*Each time power is turned on this setting will always be at "On."
