Removing the Chain Guards
1.
Remove the 2 flange locknuts, 2 washers, 2
carriage bolts, and flange-head screw (1/4 x 1/2
inch) securing each chain guard to the machine,
and remove the guard
Note:
Retain the washers. Discard the chain
guard, carriage bolts, flange locknuts, and
flange-head screw.

Removing the Rear Platform Cover
Remove the 2 thumbscrews that secure the rear
platform guard to the frame of the machine, and
remove the guard
Note:
Retain the guard. Discard the thumbscrews.
