USING YOUR MACHINE
WASHING 4 KG OF WHITE COTTON
Suppose you have 4 kg of normally dirty laundry to
wash. It is white cotton and is suitable for high temper-
ature washing.
1 Load the laundry
Lift the lid, position the
drum as shown in the fig-
ure and open it with both
your hands by pressing
the button A: the two
flapdoors will then disen-
gage.
Load the laundry into the
drum, one garment at a
time, shaking them out as
much as possible. Close
the drum doors.
Measure out the amount
of detergent required and
pour into the main wash
compartment.
f you wish to carry out the soak programme, pour the
amount
of detergent required
into the "prewash"
compartment LJ.
3 Add the fabric softener if required
Pour the fabric softener, if
required, into the com-
partment marked @& .
Do not exceed the MAX
level and then close the
lid gently.
4 Select the required programme
Turn the programme se-
lector dial ((j)) to the re-
quired position.
Turn the temperature se-
lector dial (°C) to the tem-
perature recommended
in the programme chart,
according to the type of
fabric and its colour-fast-
ness.
6 Depress the button(s) required
If you wish to reduce the spin speed op crease the
quantity of rinse water, depress the 220 or
buttons respectively.
7 Start the machine
Before starting up the ma-
chine check that:
® the appliance is plugged
in
= the water supply tap is
turned on
™ the drain hose is correct-
ly and securely posi-
tioned
= the lid is closed.
Depress the ON/OFF (D) button, the mains-on light
will illuminate and the machine will start operating.
8 At the end of the programme
The machine stops automatically.
The lid is controlled by a safety device which releases
2 minutes after the end of the programme.
Switch the machine off by depressing the ON/OFF
button again, the mains-on light goes out.
Release the button(s) depressed.
When the programme has finished you are advised to
unplug the appliance and turn off the water tap.
