Erasing a File (PURGE)

PURGE 'filename:device'

This command will remove the specified file from the PMS. It is not revers-

ible. A LEX file can not be purged.

Example:

PURGE 'T1:ROMA'

Removes T1 from bank A.

Errors:

,bank not initialized}

{device not present}

{file active}

{file not found}

{invalid checksum}

{invalid filespec}

{wrong file type}

Bank Memory Availability (ROMAVAIL)

ROMAVAIL (' :device')

This command will return the decimal number of unused bytes of memory

avail-

able in the specified PMS bank.

Examples:

ROMAVAIL (' :romd')

Returns the number of available bytes

of memory in bank D.
