When VCR is used
NOTE:
Assume that picture and sound are recorded using the VCR, with
the VIDEO INPUT and AUDIO INPUT terminals connected to the
CLD-900. If the compact disc sound is recorded with the VIDEO
INPUT terminal still connected, the sound may not be recorded
properly.
if this occurs, remove the VIDEO INPUT terminal plug for
recording.
The compact disc playback information displayed on the TV (or TV
monitor) cannot be recorded on the VCR.

TRACK SEARCH
{Example] To search for the beginning of 3rd track ona
disc and begin playback from that point.
1. Press the TRACK button.
(INPUT is displayed)
2. Press 3.
(The number 3 is displayed as the track number)
3. Press the SEARCH button.
(SEARCH is displayed)
In this way, the player will search for the beginning of 3rd
track on the disc and begin playback from that point.
INDEX SEARCH
This function allows you to search for a desired index number
(numbers indicating divisions within tracks) and begin
playback from that point.
[Example] During playback of track 3, to search for the
beginning of index 2 of the same. track, and begin
playback from that point.
1. Press the INDEX button.
(INPUT is dispiayed)
2. Press 2.
(The number 2 is displayed as the index number)
3. Press the SEARCH button.
(SEARCH is displayed)
In this way, the player will search for the beginning of index 2
of track 3, and begin playback from that point.
Depending on the disc, some entire tracks may be recorded as
index 7,
By combining track search and index search, you can quickly
find any desired index of any track on a disc.
[Example] To begin playback from the beginning of in-
dex 2 of track 5.
1. Press TRACK, 5, SEARCH.
m™ Player search for track 5.
Once track 5 has begun playing,
2. Press INDEX, 2, SEARCH.
= Player search for index 2.
In this way, playback will begin from index 2 of track 5.
