Duplicating the recorded contents of one tape onto another tape is
known as tape copying. The contents of the tape in Deck | can be copied
onto the tape in Deck It (but not vice versa.) Copying is not possible
while either deck is operating. You cannot record a source using the
graphic equalizer.
If a tape recorded with the DOLBY NR system is copied, the copied
tape will also be recorded automatically with DOLBY NR system.
If a tape recorded without the DOLBY NR system is copied,
the copied tape will also be recorded automatically without the
DOLBY NR system. {
1, Load the recorded tape into Deck | and the tape for recording into
Deck I.
* Wind the tape forward past the leader to the start of the magnetic
coating portion.
* Tape copying begins from the forward direction (® }.
* Make sure there is no tape slack.
2. To perform a normal copy while listening to playback, set the
FUNCTION button on the tuner control amplifier to TAPE and select
the DOLBY NR switch position.
Even if the FUNCTION button is set to another position, tape copying
will still proceed. The sound of the program source selected by the
input selector button will be heard through the speakers. |
3. Press one of the SYNCHRO COPY buttons.
NORM: For tape copying at norma! speed while listening to the tape.
HIGH: For tape copying at about twice normal speed.
4. Press the STOP button () on either deck to stop the copying at
any time.
NOTE;
* If you are using a TV in the vicinity of the unit, noise will be recorded.
Either switch off the TV or move it away from the unit.
* There is variation in actual tape length even among cassettes of the
same length label (C-60, C-90, etc.). Therefore, even if the recording
tape is labeled as the same length as the playback tape, it is possible
for the recording tape to end first without recording ali of the contents
of the playback tape.
*/f you are performing high-speed copying near a television,
interference {a high-pitched sound) may be recorded on the tape. If
such interference occurs, perform copying at normal speed, or turn
off the television set.

La duplication du contenu enregistré d'une bande sur une autre bande
est appelée copie de bande. Le contenu de ta bande se trouvant dans
la Platine | peut étre copié sur la bande se trouvant dans la Platine fl
{mais non vice versa). La copie n'est pas possible pendant que |'une
des platines fonctionne. Une source ne peut pas étre enregistrée en
utilisant |'égaliseur graphique.
Si une bande enregistrée avec le systeme DOLBY NR est capiée,
la copie est également automatiquement enregistrée avec le systeme
DOLBY NR. Si une bande enregistrée sans systeme DOLBY NR est
copiée, la copie est également automatiquement enregistgée sans
systéme DOLBY NR.
1. Charger la bande enregistrée dans la Platine I et la bande a
enregistrer dans la Platine Il.
© Faire défiler la bande jusqu'au-dela de fa bande amorce, au début
de la partie & revétement magnétique.
* La copie de bande commence 4 partir du sens avant (> }.
* Vérifier que la bande ne présente pas de jeu.
2. Pour effectuer une copie normale tout en écoutant la reproduction,
régier la touche FUNCTION de |'amplificateur de commande tuner
sur la position TAPE et sélectionner fa position du commutateur
DOLBY NR.
La copie de bande s'effectue méme si la touche FUNCTION est
régiée sur une autre position. Le son de la source de programme
sélectionnée par ia touche FUNCTION est entendu par les enceintes.
3. Appuyer sur I'une des touches SYNCHRO COPY.
NORM: Pour une copie de bande & vitesse normale tout en écoutant
ja bande.
HIGH: Pour une copie de bande 4 environ deux fois la vitesse
normale.
4. Pour arréter la copie & n'importe quel moment, appuyer sur la
touche STOP {m)} de I'une des platines.
REMARQUE:

Vappareil. Soit mettre ie téiéviseur hors circuit soit I'éloigner de
Vappareil.
© La longueur réelie des bandes varie méme pour des cassettes portant
une étiquette de méme longueur (C-60, C-90, etc.). Méme sila bande
denregistrement a fa méme longueur que la bande de reproduction,
il se peut donc que /a bande d'enregistrement se termine ert premier,
sans enregistrer tout fe contenu de fa bande de reproduction.
* Siune copie & grande vitesse est effectuée prés d'un téléviseur, des
interférences (un son trés aigu) peut étre enregistré sur fa bande. Si
cela se produit, effectuer la copie 4 vitesse normale ou mettre le
téléviseur hors circuit.
