FADE IN AND
FADE OUT
Fade in is the gradual introduction of an input sound, from an
inperceptibie level up to its normal sound volume. Fade out is
the reverse, the gradual reduction of a playback sound from its
normal level to an inperceptibie level.
REGARDING AUTO FADER
When
the auto
fader
control
function
is used,
you
can
gradually fade out the end of one program while fading in the
beginning of the next program (See Fig. 1).
In addition, with the cross point switch, you can cause the
fade out and fade in programs to overlap. For example, you
can begin fade out just before the end of the last bar of one
song, while beginning to fade in the second song (See Fig. 2).
With the SG-90, you can create your own original
tapes in this way.

[ BEFORE OPERATION |
Set up the components before operation as follows.
Stereo amplifier
Set the power switch to ON.
Set the volume control to the "3"
or "4" position.
Set the ADAPTOR/TAPE 2
switch (or tape monitor switch)
to ON. For stereo amplifiers with
2 types of tape terminals, select
TAPE 1 or TAPE 2, in accordance
with the tape decks connected to
the unit's tape terminalis.
Tuner
Set the power switch to ON.
Tune in the desired broadcast
station.
