Install the ceiling mount arm
1. The ceiling mount shower arm
requires a 1/2” male nipple,
extending 5/8” outside the
finished ceiling surface. Seal the
ceiling around the nipple with a
suitable, non-staining waterproof
bathroom sealant.
2. Wrap the threads on the ceiling nipple with several layers
of Teflon
thread tape. Position the escutcheon (if
TM
desired) over the nipple. Carefully screw the shower arm
onto the nipple.
