Alarm Output

The ports ALARM_OUT and ALARM_OUT_GND form a switch that is used to provide alarm output.
Normally the switch is on. The switch turns off when there is alarm output.

Alarm Connections

1. Connect the alarm input device to the ALARM_IN_1 or to the ALARM_IN_2 connector.
2. Connect the alarm output device to the ALARM_OUT and to ALARM_OUT_GND connectors.
Note: the ALARM_OUT port is the relay switch output. Connect only a Normally Open (NO) alarm
device to the ALARM_OUT port.
3. Launch Internet Explorer and type the camera IP address in the address bar. Internet Explorer
opens the Login page.
4. Type the Username and Password for the camera. (The default Username and Password is
"admin "). Then, click Login.
5. Navigate to the Alarm page, under the Event menu item.
6.
Set the alarm input and output parameters. Set the Sensor Type to NO or NC for each alarm
input. The alarm input set corresponds to the device I/O port cable. When an alarm is triggered,
the alarm input device generates a high- and low-level signal.
7.
Set the alarm output (or relay out) parameters for the device connected to the ALARM_OUT port.
