    Using the Operator’s manual The operating manual is an important part of your Submersible Pump. It should be read thoroughly before initial use, and referred to often to make sure adequate safety and service concerns are being addressed. Reading the owner’s manual thoroughly will help avoid any personal injury or damage to your pump.

    It must be understood that it is ultimately up to the owner/operator to safely use this machine as outlined in this manual. This manual is considered a part of the machine and needs to be kept in a safe location. If the machine is resold or given to someone else, this manual needs to be included.

    7. Operating Tips • Dry-running operation causes increased wear and should be avoided at all costs. This means that the unit must be switched off if water ceases to flow at any point. • The pump is automatically switched off upon overheating by the built-in thermal motor protector.
