Matrices

In
general,
connecting
the
rows
of
a card
in
one main-
frame
to
the
rows
of
a card
in a
second
mainframe

creases
the
column numbers
of
the matrix.
For
example,

one main-
frame

connected
to
the
rows
of
a 4

second mainframe,
the resulting

Partial
matrix implementation
A
fully
implemented
matrix provides
a relay
at
each
potential crosspoint.
For example,

slot

another switching card

x 20 matrix
is
realized
by
externally
hard-wiring the
rows
of
card #1
to
the
rows
of card
#2.
