Separate switching systems
Two
single-card
systems can be configured
by remov-
ing
file
backplane jumpers from one
of the cards.
The
two
cards
wiE
be
controlled
by
the
same
mainframe,
but they
will
be
electrically
isolated
from
each
other.

using
two
Model
7012
matrix
cards.

configured
by
simply
installing
two
"as
shipped"
Model
7012s in the
Model
7001
mainframe.
By
leaving the
backplane
jumpers
installed,
the
rows
of the
matrix
card
installed
in
slot
1
(CARD
1)
are automatically
connected
to
the
rows
of
the
matrix card
installed
in
slot
2
(CARD
2)
through
the
analog
backplane.
