1, Apply a -10dB (0.3V} signal to the Model 301 Input
Module

2, Plug in an AC voltmeter to the Model 303B AUX B
Module AUX
B SEND jack.
3. Set the panel controls on the Model 301 Input Module
and Model 3038 Aux B Module as follows:

. The circuit is in normal condition if the AUX
B
SEND
output is -2.2dB
(0.775V)
against a -10dB
LINE
IN tevel.
. If the output is not -2.2 dB, adjust the INPUT Module
TRIM knob, The circuit is in normat condition if the
TRIM adjustment is between 10 and 15dB on the
scale,
. If the circuit is not functioning correctly, compare
the levels with the block diagram and check the DC
voltages and signal levels in the AUX
B Module cir-
cuit schematic,
. Check
the
AUX 2 signals
from
all remaining
23
channels of the INPUT Module in the same way,
. Checking procedures for LINE —
LINE OUT are
the same as in paragraph 5.3.
. With
the signal from
LINE
IN being ASSIGNed
to
LINE OUT 1, a -2.2dB {0.775V) output will be
obtained from AUX A SEND by setting the panel
controls of AUX A Module as follows:

Push switch
: Depress AUX
3 (ON)
AUX A MASTER : At "O" on scale
When the LINE OUT 1 level is -10dB (0,3V}, the
AUX A SEND output will be -2.2dB (0.775V).
