Tr oubleshooting (For the amplifier)
No power.
No sound.
Amplifier connections are not correct.
Check the amplifier connections.

Headphones are connected to the PHONES jack.
Disconnect the headphones plug.
VOLUME control is set to MIN.
Set the VOLUME control to the appropriate position.
Input select button is not set to the correct playback
source.
Press the button corresponding to the source you wish
listen to.
The short pins have been removed from the PROCESSOR
IN and OUT jacks.
Replace the short pins.
The VOLUME SCALE indicates a higher volume level than
can be heard.

No sound after the power is turned on.
The protection circuit is engaged.
Wait a few seconds.
No sound during playback.

Stop playback as soon as possible, turn off the power, and
then check the speaker cord connections.

or more or turn down the playback volume.
Humming noise is heard during record playback.
The turntable's earth wire is not connected.
Connect it to the 77 terminal.
Bass or stereo sound is not reproduced fully.

Bass and treble tone controls are not effective.

bers and all pertinent data regarding warranty coverage as well
as a clear description of the existing trouble. Then contact your
nearest authorized Akai Service Station.
