Recalling data stored in memory
With index search, you scroll through an index display of data items.
With initial character search, you specify the data item you are looking for
by inputting the first few letters of an entry.

With mode search, you specify the data item you are looking for by inputting
characters that might occur anywhere in any one of its entries.
Each of the above search procedures produces an index display of the found
data items. You can then use DISP CHNG to switch
to the full data display of
the data item you want.

To locate data using index search
1. Enter the mode you want to search.
2, Press A or V to scroll through the index display. You can also scroll to the
next page of items by pressing SHIFT A or SHIFT VY.

inthe Telephone Directory, Memo Mode and Reminder Mode, pressing V
when the initial screen of the mode is displayed.starts the index display
from the first data item, while pressing A starts from the last data item.
3. When the data item you are looking for is in the top line (second line in
the Schedule Keeper Mode) of the display, press DISP CHNG to switch to
the full data display.
To locate data using initial character search
1. Enter the mode you want to search.
2. Enter the first few characters of the entry for the data item you want to look
for.
