What might seem to be a malfunction in your unit may
just be the result of slight misoperation or miswiring.
Before calling service, first check the following table for
possible problems.
General
? The power does not turn ON.
(/ The fuse has blown.

/ No ACC posrtron on vehicle rgnrtron.
*Y Connect the same wrre to the rgnrtron as the battery wire

EC Press the reset button on the unit (page 4)
Disc source
? The specified disc does not play, but another one plays instead.
ti The specrfred CD IS quite dirty.
~5 Clean the CD.
(/ The CD IS upsrde-down.
-- Load the CD with the labeled side up.
/ The disc IS loaded in a different slot from that specrfred.
ub Elect the disc magazrne and check the number for the specrfred
disc
/ The drsc IS severely scratched.
U* Try another disc instead.
? The specified track will not play.
/ Random play or magazrne random play has been selected.
DOT' Turn off random play or magarrne random play
? Cannot play CD-R or CD-RW.
/ Flnalrzation processrng 1s not berng conducted for CD-R/CD-RW

? Direct Track Search and Direct Album Search can't be done.
