On power sources
Operate the unit only on 6V DC.
For AC operation, use the optional Sony AC power adaptor
recommended for this unit. Oa not use any ather AC power
adaptor.
On safety
- Do not open the casing. Refer servicing to quaiified personnel
only,
* Should any solid or object liquid fail into the unit, especially into
the DC IN jack, disconnect the power source and have the unit
checked by the qualified personnel betore operating it any
further.

Do not place the unit in a hot place or in a place subject to
excessive Gust, moisture or vibration.
On LCD

The picture is not visible outside under direct sunlight.
* The display may flash in white momentarily when you turn on or
off the unit. but this is not a problem.

Do not press the liquid crystal panel forcibly, as it may cause
poor picture and damag@ to the unit.
- Use the unit within a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C.
+ When you use the unit in a cold piace, double images or
delayed images may occur but this is not a malfunction.
On buiit-in fluorescent jamps——_—_—_—_____—_
if the ouilt-in fluorescent lamps flicker o7 do not light up when
ihe
power is turned on with no video signal input, it is time to replace
them with new fluorescent lamos.
Consult your nearest Sony dealer.
* The life of the fluorescent lamps ts approximately 2 years when
used 2 hours a day.
Due to the fluorescent lamp charactenstics, the picture may flicker
during some period after you have started using the monitor. If
this happens, turn otf the monitor and turn it on again.
On cleani
Clean the unit with a soft cloth slightiy dampened with a mild
datergent sofution.
Never use strong solvents, such as thinner or
benzine, as they may damage the finish.
If you have any question or problem concerning your unit that is
not covered in this manual, please consult the nearest Sony
dealer.
