TEST MODE CANCELLATION
Turn off the power switch.
PLAYER OPERATION IN THE TEST MODE
Operate the player by selecting a test mode function
with the keys on the player or on the remote control unit.
@ CD PLAYBACK
@ Place the CD disc on the tum table.
(Clamper is already lifted up.)
® LD PLAYBACK
@ Place the LD disc on the turn table.
(Clamper is already lifted up.)

@ Press the [<<] or [PP] key to appear
"S- CD" on the TV screen display.
@® Press the [<4<q] or [PP] key to appear
"S-LD" on the TV screen display.

TEST MODE INITIATION
[Procedure]
1. Remove the bonnet and disc tray.
2. Connect the TP(TEST MODE)
in the ASCB board
assembly to GND.
3. Turn on the power switch.
4. Disconnect the TP from GND.

Connect TP and GND.

@Clamp the disc by pressing the
PLAY (> ) key once.
Then, press the PLAY (> ) key
twice, disc will be normal
playbacked.
