MP3 Playback
MP3 is a method
of compressing
files. You can copy MP3 files on CD-RW/-R
from the computer
and play back the files on this unit.
Insert a CD-RW/-R
with MP3 files, the file list will automatically
appear on the TV screen. Press [MENU] when you want to call up
the file list again while CD-RW/-R
with MP3 files is already
inserted.

• Press [_1 when you want to go to the next hierarchy.
• Press [_11 when you want to go back to the previous
hierarchy
(except for the top hierarchy).

Press [STOP II] once to stop MP3
playback temporarily.

Note:
• Depending on some sections, it may take a while to be recognized.
• Press [TOP MENU]
to return to the first item.
• Folders and MP3 files are displayed respectively as []
and r_].
• A maximum of 255 folders or ggg files may be recognized on one disc.
• Up to 8 hierarchies can be recognized in one folder. File in the gth or
deeper hierarchies cannot be played back.
This unit recommends files recorded under the following circum-
stances:
• Sampling frequency: 44.1kHz or 48kHz
• Constant bit rate: 32kbps ~ 320kbps
• For MP3 file recorded in VBR (variable bit rate), the unit may not display the
actual elapsed time.
You can check the information about the current disc by pressing [DISPLAY] on the remote control.
