NOTE:
@ When
a track
number
of a track
not on
the disc is
selected, playback starts from the first track.
@ Track selection cannot begin from the disc number of a
magazine tray which does not contain a disc.
@ Performing
these
operations
during programmed
play-
back causes
the program
to be cleared.
@ Performing
these
operations
during
random
playback
causes random
playback to be cancelled.
@ Playback
from
a
direct
disc
or
track
search
is not
possible when a program
is being input in stop mode.
@ When
there is no magazine
inserted and the PLAY or
RANDOM
PLAY
key is pressed,
"disc"
will appear
in
the indicator for 2.5 seconds.
TO STOP PLAYBACK
1
Press the STOP key or the EJECT key.
@ When
the STOP key is pressed, the player enters
the stop mode. All operations stop, and the disc
returns to the magazine.
@ When
the EJECT
key is pressed,
the magazine
ejects.
PAUSE OPERATION
Operation example
ie To temporarily stop playback
@ To resume
playback
PAUSE]
or [PLAY]
1. With the player in the playback mode, press
the PAUSE key
The PAUSE indicator will light, and the player will
- - pause immediately.
2. To resume
playback, press the PAUSE
key
again, or the PLAY key.

TO PAUSE AT THE BEGINNING
OF A TRACK
Operation example
To
switch
from
stop
mode
to
pause
at the
beginning of the third track on the fifth disc:
> Disc no. key
— Press [PP] 3
times >

TRACK

@ To start playback:
[PAUSE]
or [FAY]
Press the PAUSE
key.
Select the disc number with a Disc no. key.
Select
the
track
number
with
TRACK
SEARCH
keys.
Press the PLAY key.
To start playback, press the PAUSE
key or
the PLAY key.
