YE Indicates the battery voltage — E full, EK low battery.

Indicates that you are registered to a non-home network — roaming.
3 Indicates that a call is in progress or flashes when a call is holding.
Ba Indicates the reception of a short text message and flashes when a
message has not been read.
Be Indicates that it is possible to make an emergency call.
Indicates the received signal strength
— Y ull strong signal, Y , weak signal.
Indicates that the (V) and (A) keys can be pressed.
Indicates that the OK key can be pressed.
Following some operations the display will automatically clear after three seconds or
after pressing any key except c9.
During some operations the bottom line of the display will show a message in
brackets. These messages show which key can be pressed to operate the telephone
more efficiently.
