Call waiting is used to receive a second call during your current call.
When updating or checking the status of call waiting the telephone must be
registered with a network.
Set Call Waiting

Select "SET?" or "CLEAR?" by pressing V or (A), then (°.
Press Gad to update the call waiting status with the network.

You can receive, display, edit or send short text messages, of up to 160
characters.
New messages will automatically be stored in the message area of your SIM. If the
message area is full a new message will be rejected. To receive new messages
you will have to erase unwanted messages, this can be done automatically.
When a message is received the message indicator (DX) will flash and "NEW
MESSAGE' will be displayed. To read a new message when "NEW MESSAGE' is
displayed press €B. The rest of the message can be read by pressing (V) and (4).
