Tuning in strong signals

1 Press FUNCTION to select LOCAL.
Press FUNCTION un7il LOCAL eppears ir the
aisplay.
2 Press a to turn local seek tuning on.
Local seek sensitivity (e.g.. LOCAL 2: apoeacs in
the display.
3 Press < or to set the sensitivity.
Tnere are four levers ot serisitiv ty foc FM and
two levels for AM:
FM: LOCAL 1—LOCAL 2—LOCAL 3—LOCAL 4
AM: LOCAL 1— LOCAL 2

4 When you want to return to normal seek

Storing the strongest broadcast
frequencies
BSM ipest stations memory! lets you automat:
cally store the $ x stronges? breadcast *reque-
cies under PRESET TUNING buttcrs 1-6 and
once stored there you can tune into tiose fre-
quencies with the touch cf a button,
1 Press FUNCTION to select BSM.
Press FUNCTION unt}! BSM appears inthe ais
2 Press « to turn BSM on.
BSM beg ns te tlash. While BSM is fiashing the
six strongest broaccast frequenc es wil be
stored unde' PRESET TUNING buttons ir order
of theics.gna. strergth. When finished, BSM
stops fashing.
* To cancel tre storage process, press ¥.

Shows the vrack currertiy slaying.
2 PLAY TIME indicator
Shows the clapsed playirg time ef the cur-
rert wreck.
1 Press OPEN to open the front panel.
CD loadirg slot apsears.
2 Insert a CD into the CD loading slot.
Playback will automatically start.

* You can aject a CD by pressing CD EJECT.
3 Close the front panei.
« After a CO has been inserted. press SOURCE
to select the built-in CD player
4 Use VOLUME to adjust the sound level.
Rotate to increase or decrease trie volume.
5 To perform fast forward or reverse, press
and hold <4 or >. '
6 To skip back or forward to another track,
press < orm,
Pressing «once skips to the start of the current
track. Press ng aga'r wili sk p te the erev ous
track.
