LOADING YOUR DISHWASHER
Your KitchenAid dishwasher is designed with lots of loading space.
Glasses, mugs, Saucers and saucepans can be loaded in either the upper
or lower rack. For best results, dishware should be loaded so soiled sur-
faces face the rotating wash arm.
No hand rinsing is necessary before loading your KitchenAid dishwasher.
Just scrape leftover food, bones, toothpicks and other hard items from the
dishware.
Some foods like eggs, rice, pasta and cooked cereals may be hard to re-
move if left to dry over a period of time. If you do not plan to wash your
dishes fairly soon after use, run a RINSE & HOLD CYCLE to keep them
moist until you are ready to run the next wash cycle. Never prewash
dishes with a hand dishwashing detergent. It will cause sudsing in the
dishwasher and result in poor cleaning and/or spotting and filming on the
dishware.
