Zig zag sewing
Turn the pattern selector dial so that the stitch
display shows " .,,,,,_ " zig-zag. Turning the
pattern selector dial will increase or decrease
the zig zag width. (1)
Function of stitch length dial while
zigzaging
The density of zigzag stitches increase as the
setting of stitch length dial approaches "0".
Neat zigzag stitches are usually achieved at
"2.5" or below. (2)
Satin stitch
When the stitch length is set between "0" - "1",
the stitches are very close together producing
the "satin stitch" which is used for making
buttonholes and decorative stitches.
Fine fabric
When sewing on very fine fabric, place a piece
of thin paper under the fabric. It is easy to tear
the paper and remove the paper after you
have finish your seam.
0 Zigzag

Las puntadas en zig-zag mejor ejecutadas se
suelen conseguir en "2.5" o menor. (2)
Las puntadas en zig-zag cerradas (m_.s
prOximas) se denominan puntada de raso.
Couture au point zig-zag
Tourner le bouton selecteur de point afin que
la vignette d'affichage du point indique ".._,',_"
zigzag. Tourner le selecteur de point pour
augmenter ou reduire la largeur du point
zigzag. (1)
Fonction de la longueur du point lors de la
couture
La densit_ du point augmente Iorque le
reglage du bouton de Iongueur de point
approche du "O". (2). Pour un point zig-zag
efficace, la Iongueur de point la Iongueur de
point devrait _tre a "2.5" ou moins.
Point satin
Lorsque le bouton de Iongueur de point est
situe entre "0" - "1", les points sont tres serres
produisant ainsi le point satin. Ce reglage est
utilise pour la boutonniere, les points
decoratifs et les appliques.
Tissus fins
Lorsque le tissu & coudre est tres fin, placer
une mince feuille de papier sous le tissu pour
le coudre. II est facile de dechirer et d"enlever
le papier une lois la couture terminee.
