Press SELECT during play and press SELECT again at the pre-
ferred point to store a marker. (Up to 5 markers can be stored in the
memory.) (Marker no. is displayed instead of ":#".)
eTo recall a marker, select the preferred marker no. by using the
joystick (4, >} and enter the selection by using the joystick (A).
eTo clear a marker, select the preferred marker no. by using the
joystick (<4, >) and press CANCEL on the remote control.

e)n the case of the remote control, the items can be changed using the cursor buttons in-
stead of the joystick .
$ All the markers are cleared when the player is set to the standby mode or turned off, or
the disc is removed.
eEach time the joystick (4, PP) is tilted or the cursor button (4, >) is pressed, the speed
of rapid advance/reverse and slow-motion play increases up to 5 steps.
The figures appearing at both ends of the shuttle screen stand for the maximum speeds
of rapid advance/reverse.
