Using USB Cables

To enable importing of images on the PDR-M81 to your personal computer, the PDR-M81 must be connected to
your personal computer by cable.
When you connect the PDR-M81 to your personal computer by USB cable, the connection can be made with both
the PDR-M81 and your personal computer turned on.
Connectable personal computer: Macintosh with built-in USB port
IMPORTANT
• If the camera's power is turned off while image data is being transferred to the PC, the data may be damaged. When
the PDR-M81 is connected to the personal computer, use the AC adapter.
• When the camera is in the [
Connect one end of the USB cable to the DIGITAL terminal on the PDR-M81.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to the your personal computer or to the
USB port on the USB hub.
Set the mode dial to [
Start up Image Expert.
Double-click the Image Expert folder in the Toshiba PDR-M81 folder.
Double-click the Image Expert icon.
Click "Connection" in the Camera menu.
