Turning the Power ON/OFF

Turning the Power ON

Make sure that the SmartMedia™ is correctly loaded. (
Slide the POWER switch to turn on the power and set
the mode dial to the desired mode.
Remove the lens cap during photography.

When the camera is turned ON, the Auto Power OFF function starts
to work.
IMPORTANT
• If no operation is carried out for a fixed amount of time (default: about 1 minute), the power is turned off

Turning the Power OFF

Slide the POWER switch to turn off the power.
The power is turned off, and the lens returns to its original position in
the body.
