Summer Mode
During warmer days, the heatSava prevents warm
air from entering the room and switches to provide
extract ventilation only. As the temperature falls it
automatically returns to heat recovery mode.
Frost Protection
The heatSava has an automatic built-in frost
protection mechanism to prevent damage to the
heat exchange cell in cold conditions.
Warranty
The EnviroVent heatSava is covered by a full 5-year
warranty. You will find the terms of the warranty in
the installation guide.
• DO NOT switch off the unit - The unit is set to
run continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Maintenance
Ensure mains is isolated before carrying out any
cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning can be carried out by the resident by
vacuuming the sides of the grilles.
The heatSava should ideally be cleaned around
every 6 months depending on occupancy levels,
conditions of use and where the heatSava is
located.
General maintenance should ideally take place
every 12 months and should be carried out only
by a competent trades person adhering to the
instructions in the installation guide.

Service
The unit should be serviced every 5 years by
EnviroVent, a maintenance company or other
competent person. This would include an air flow
Kitchen
check as well as inspection of the heat exchange
cell, all components and parts. Any worn out
components can then be exchanged. These would
then be brought back to the Harrogate factory to
be recycled.
Safety
You do not need to remove the covers from the unit,
any repair work should be carried out by a qualified
person to avoid hazard. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
service agent or similarly qualified person.
Emergency shutdown details - Unit to be
isolated from the mains by turning it off at
the isolating switch.
