Varistors (ZNR Surge Absorber) Type SC protects power supply facilities,
communications equipment from steep lightning surges, and it is a suitable
product to incorporate it in a serge protective device corresponding to the
Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS C 5381-1).

- Page 4 Matters to Be Observed When Using This Product Matters to Be Observed When Using This Product (E / CK / SC-type) Safety measures An abnormal state of E-Type, CK-type, and SC-type varistors (ZNR surge absorber, hereinafter "the product" or "the surge absorber") that results from a problem with service conditions (materials used, the surrounding environment, power conditions, circuit conditions, etc.) may cause a fire accident, electric shock accident, burn accident, or product failure.
