Before first use

Cleaning the
sensor display
Clean the sensor
with a soft cloth
before first use.
Functional test
and automatic
sensor adjustment
After connecting the
fitting to the power
supply, a functional test is initiated. It is normal that
the open and close noise of the water converter is
heard. The optimum zone for the sensor range is
adjusted during the functional test. Please make sure
that there are no foreign objects in front of the sensor,
otherwise the sensor zone will be automatically
reduced. The self-adjustment phase may take up to
3 minutes.

Method of functioning

Opening and
closing the water
supply
When the hands
reach the sensor
zone, the water is
automatically
switched on within
approx. 0.5–1 sec-
onds. The water
stops running
approx. 0.5–1 seconds after the hands have left the
sensor zone.
The water supply
closes automatically
if the hand-washing
time exceeds 1 min-
ute during which the
sensor detects an
object. Once the
hands or the object
are removed, the
water jet will resume
after approximately
10 seconds.
