MQTT Demo application code
In addition to the Tiger board and the tools already listed in paragraph 8.1, this
demo needs:
• sensor board MCS27561-SH-NXP, equipped with a 6-axis sensor with
integrated linear accelerometer and magnetometer (FXOS8700CQ), a 3-
Axis Low-Power Accelerometer (FXLS8972CF), a 3-Axis Digital Angular
Rate Gyroscope (FXAS21002C), a digital temperature sensor (PCT2075),
RGB led and user buttons.
• i.MX6UL Modular Gateway kit from Volansys.
• FTDI cable connected from J12 to the PC, to have a serial connection
between PC and KW41 (baud rate 115200, data bits 8, stop bits 1, parity
none).
In this application the Tiger board is Thread connected with a Modular Gateway
from Volansys. By means of this gateway, the Tiger board can send to an MQTT
server the sensors readings and receive commands from the server (see Figure
28).
