PRODUCT DESTINATION
The bed rail protection is a Class I medical device that complements the use of the healthcare bed. This product is attached to
the bed rail with fasteners and protects the agitated patient from the kicks he might give to the bed rail. It creates a reassuring
cocoon for the patient. The choice to use a bed rail protection is made by the multidisciplinary care team. It is intended for
patients with senility pathology to complement their safety. Monitoring of the patient is important to ensure patient acceptance.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Failure to follow the safety precautions may result in the risk of serious injury.
Check the condition of the seams each time you use it. Do not put a damaged protection on a bedrail. Do not use if
straps are torn and buckles are broken.
Check that the bed rail is accepted by the patient and that he/she will not remove it. If the patient tries to remove it,
do not use it and tell the referring doctor. Choose the right length for the bed rail and the type of bed.
Available in 3 lengths: 90 cm - 140 cm - 190 cm.
If you remove the cover for washing, make sure you put it back on correctly.
USE
The bed rail protection can only be fitted by the nursing staff. The bed rail protection is placed over the bed rail. It is attached to
the underside of the bed rail with quick-release fasteners.
Each time it is used, check the condition of the seams and the condition of the straps and buckles. It should be checked that it
fits properly and that it holds well to the gate. If the guard does not fit properly and is not suitable for the gate, do not use it.
