Operation Using the Selector Handle (Coupling and Decoupling) The integral external selector handle used to operate the built-in internal decoupling mechanism is located on the right-hand side of the switch operator enclosure. Become familiar with the operation of the selector handle, as described on the switch operator nameplate on the right- hand side of the enclosure. - Page 15 Operation To couple the switch operator to the circuit- switcher: Manually operate the switch operator to bring STEP 1� it to the same position (Open or Closed) as the circuit-switcher.
