NOTE: A highly efficient tweeter in
the speaker system will cause hiss to
be prominent. Decrease tweeter level,
record at a higher level.
Tape faulty. Heads dirty.

Procedure: Turn off power, pull off
the plastic VU meter cover. Fold the
wires holding the lamp forward.
Folder in new lamp with low heat iron.
Fold wires back. Replace cover.
Head dirty or improper bias.
Out of adjustment.
Improper record level calibration.
