Pitch and slope indicate the incline of a roof, expressed as a proportion of the vertical rise to the horizontal run.

The Attic Upright spacing when measured perpendicular to the slope is maximum 10 ft. (3,1 m) or when measured parallel to the slope is
maximum 12 ft. (3,6 m).

The VK697 is approved in 2.5:12 to 6:12 roof pitches when used with the VK690.

The VK697 is approved in 4:12 to 12:12 roof pitches in all other attic applications.
