Water ices, if consumed immediately
after removal from the freezer, can
possibly result in a low-temperature
skin burn condition. It can be
dangerous to place in the freezer sealed
vessels that contain carbonated liquids
(fizzy drinks, etc.).
Deep-freeze - Storage of foods
Net storage volume of the freezer: 180 1.
Gross storage volume of the freezer:

If the appliance has not worked
previously or after a period of inaction,
it must be left to run for at least three
hours with the fast-freeze switch (D -
Fig.1) on the «on» position/control knob
(A - Fig. 2) on position "S" before storing
frozen food inside; then switch them off.
When the appliance is on normal
operation (storage), the temperature in
the freezer is kept steady by the
thermostat which can be adjusted by
turning knob B (Fig. 1-2). The best
temperature for safe storage of frozen
food should be a little colder or at least
equal to -18°C.
To correctly adjust the temperature,
follow the directions under paragraph:

Temperature Adjustment». To obtain the
best service from the appliance it is
advisable to make sure that the frozen
foods have been properly stored by the
retailer and that their transfer from
retailer to consumer is effected in the
shortest time possible. Moreover it 1s
important not to exceed the storage
period indicated by the producer of the
frozen food. Also, do not open the door
often or leave it open longer than
absolutely necessary.
Important
If the power fails when storing frozen
food, do not open the door at all while
the power is off. The frozen food will
not deteriorate in any way if the power
failure is of short duration and the
freezer is full.
The thermometer «F» - Fig. 1,
«G» - Fig. 2, has a double temperature
scale extending from negative to positive
degreess Centigrade and the readings
given by the same are to be regarded as
a mere indication.
