operation, long-press the middle button to reset the Wi-Fi connection. Follow the
SmarterHome™ connection steps to reconnect.
Problem
Red LED flashes and

beep every 50 seconds
"NO BATTERY" alert,
but batteries are

Possible solution
The batteries are flat – replace the batteries.
Ensure the plastic insulation sheets are removed between
the batteries and their terminals.
Check that the network and the power supply are correctly
operating.

Clean the detector, refer to Cleaning & Care section of
this user guide.
Install the detector in another location, follow the
guidelines for recommended locations and locations to
avoid as stated in this user guide ("Installation" section).
• Ensure you release the base button after it flashes 5
times.
• Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz network.
Clear the paired data on all units.
Place the primary unit into pairing mode first.
Ensure all secondary units are connected within 1
minute of place the primary unit into pairing mode.
