Changing the Size

You can select the size of A Photos (still images) and N Movies (A 50) using C Choose
a size in the shooting menu.
Enter shooting mode M any flexible button M press I M flexible button 3
(C Choose a size)

Image Types (Image Size and Quality)

You can select the image size used when saving images.
Select the image type best suited to the manner in which images will be used and the
capacity of the internal memory or memory card.

Large (10 megapixels)
D
(default setting)
E Medium (4 megapixels)
F
Small (2 megapixels)
Size (pixels)
Images will be higher quality than E Medium (4
3648×2736 megapixels). The compression ratio is
approximately 1:4.
Smaller size than D Large (10 megapixels)
2272×1704 allows more images to be saved. The
compression ratio is approximately 1:8.
Smaller size than E Medium (4 megapixels)
1600×1200 allows more images to be saved. The
compression ratio is approximately 1:8.
