Problem

Cause/Solution
• These options cannot be used with movies.
• Images created using Photo albums cannot be
edited.
• Editing functions other than Small picture cannot
be added to images captured using Decorate.
• Images cannot be cropped when played back
using View favorites.
• You cannot apply the same editing feature multiple
times to the same image.
• Camera is unable to edit images captured with
other cameras.
The camera cannot rotate images captured with
another make or model of digital camera.
• Video mode is not correctly set in the setup menu.
• Memory card contains no images. Replace the
memory card. Remove the memory card to play
back images from the internal memory.
• Camera is off.
• Battery is exhausted.
• USB cable is not correctly connected.
• Camera is not recognized by the computer.
• Confirm system requirements.
• Computer is not set to start Nikon Transfer 2
automatically. For more information about Nikon
Transfer 2, refer to help information contained in
ViewNX 2.
• Memory card contains no images. Replace the
memory card.
• Remove the memory card to print images from the
internal memory.
