The following table lists the error messages and other warnings that appear in
the monitor and how to deal with them.

Set clock to current date and

Charge battery.
Use EN-EL7 battery.
Cease use and take battery
to Nikon-authorized service
representative.
Replace with new EN-EL7
battery.
Turn camera off and confi rm
that memory card is correctly
inserted.

• Check that connectors are
clean.
• Turn camera off and con-
fi rm that memory card is
correctly inserted.
Press multi selector down to
highlight FORMAT and press
center to format card, or turn
camera off and replace card.
• Reduce image quality or
size.
• Insert new memory card or
delete pictures.
Disconnect camera, delete
unwanted pictures, and try
again.
