Step 3: Record the Asset and AT3 IMEI Number
1. Record the AT3 IMEI number located on
the side label of the device
2. Record the asset name and IMEI number
(on which the AT3 was installed).
3. Enter the AT3 IMEI number and asset info
into the software application.
4. Contact your Geoforce account service
representative if you require assistance
Step 4: Initializing the AT3
The AT3 device is shipped ready to operate out of the box and will check-in according with the
reporting configuration that was ordered.
Step 5: Confirm Functionality
The AT3 Cellular Asset Tracker will automatically connect to the wireless network and check in
assuming a network is available. Check the software application to verify device operation.
NOTE: Track and Trace may not show the update immediately; it may take a few hours before a new
check-in reading is registered depending on network connectivity and device configuration. If no
network connection is available, a device check-in will be delayed until network connectivity is
available.
1. Metal can block GPS signals from the satellites, and this can significantly reduce the quality of
tracking location.
2. Avoid mounting the device facing or inside the assets metal frame.
3. Avoid mounting the device under heavy metal as this may reduce range of cellular transmission
