To use the Menu system:

Ensure that the IRD is not in standby mode by pres-
sing
, if necessary.

Press
on the RCU.
MENU
The Main Menu is displayed on the TV screen.

The Main Menu provides access to all the other
menus that branch out from the Main Menu as indi-
cated on page 22.
All the menus are used as follows:
Press

to scroll the highlighted bar up or

down.
Select a highlighted menu option by pressing q on

the RCU. When you press the number on the RCU
the menu item is highlighted and selected.

Press
to return to the preceding menu.
EXIT
Press
to exit all menus and return to the TV or

MENU
audio programme.
The Menu displayed on the TV screen can be chan-
ged or updated by the provider. This is why there
might be some deviations to the version depicted
and described in this manual.
Parental Control
The IRD includes a Parental Control facility to con-
trol viewing of age restricted programmes. Access
to this facility is controlled via a password (PIN).

The PIN is set at the factory to 1 2 3 4. If you intend
to use the Parental Control facility, please change
the PIN as soon as possible. Remember to keep a
note of your new PIN in a secure place.
Parental Control can only be effectively applied to
scrambled programmes.
The following table describes the various options
that are available.
