Installation
Refer to "Installation" page 25 for detailed instruc-
tions on how to install the system yourself. After
the initial installation, it will usually only be neces-
sary to refer to parts of the installation section
whenever new system additions are installed.

Do not change the installation, connections, IRD
setup or do any retuning on a working system
unless absolutely necessary.
Installation comprises the following:
Installation and initial alignment of the satellite dish

and cabling to the IRD. See page 25.

Connecting the IRD to the TV and other optional
equipment in the system. See page 26.

Tuning the TV set to the IRD and tuning other option-
al equipment. See page 33.

Setting installation parameters in the IRD and
optional final alignment of the satellite dish. See
page 38 (Installation Setup).
Inserting the Smart Card and CA module. See

page 43.
The IRD is now ready to use.
